Christmas Boarding Bookings Closed
Boarding capacity for 1 December 2026 to 31 January 2027 has been reached, and we are no longer accepting routine boarding requests during this period.
We ask volunteers to carefully consider whether boarding is essential and to discuss care arrangements with your program contact (Puppy Raiser Educator, or Breeding/TSD Care Coordinator) wherever possible.
If you require boarding due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, please contact Guide Dogs directly to discuss your situation. Emergency requests will be considered individually, subject to available capacity.

What to Pack for your dog's Board – Checklist
Pack enough food for your dog’s stay.
Pack your dog’s bowl, nylabone and kong.
If boarding over the 1st and 2nd of the month, pack preventatives.

Once you submit this boarding request, you’ll be prompted to complete a Boarding Handover form, which tells us a bit more about your pup’s routine. We’ll pass this info along to your pup’s Boarding Carer. Filling out the handover form is really helpful for our Boarding Carers so we appreciate it if you are able to do so! If you don’t have the time right now, we’ll also send you a link to the Boarding Handover form in the confirmation email you will soon receive.
